MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Toymaker Lego will make investments greater than $200 million to broaden its plant within the northen Mexican state of Nuevo Leon, the state’s authorities mentioned on Tuesday.
The authorities cited two figures for the funding: $205 million and $250 million. A spokesperson didn’t instantly reply to a request for clarification in regards to the dimension of the funds set to go towards the enlargement.
Lego didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
Operations within the new areas will start in May 2025, Nuevo Leon mentioned in a press release.
