BENGALURU (Reuters) -U.S. electrical automobile maker Tesla (NASDAQ:) Inc is planning to double the variety of elements it imports from India, Indian commerce minister Piyush Goyal stated on Tuesday by means of a publish on social media platform X.
“Proud to see the growing importance of Auto component suppliers from India in the Tesla EV supply chain. It is on its way to double its components imports from India,” Goyal posted on X, earlier known as Twitter, after visiting Tesla’s manufacturing facility at Fremont, California.
