BTC USD price remained near $79,000 on Thursday after briefly trading above $80,000 earlier this week, while US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded more than $884 million in inflows so far this week. The combination has kept attention on whether BTC can extend toward $83,000 by the end of September, even after losing $80,000 as near-term support.
That market backdrop is also directing interest toward Bitcoin-related infrastructure plays. Among them is Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER), a Layer 2 project built to settle on Bitcoin while processing activity on a faster execution layer. The project says it has now raised more than $33 million in public presale funding, moving closer to the $35 million mark.
Bitcoin Price Stalls Below $80K With Jackson Hole in Focus
Bitcoin did not keep $80,000 as support earlier this week, but the move still pushed the asset into its highest price zone in roughly 100 days. BTC is currently trading in a relatively tight range between $77,600 and $79,800, a setup that traders often watch for signs of the next directional break.
On a broader view, Bitcoin is still up more than 13% on the week. Meanwhile, BTC spot ETFs have attracted $3.27 billion this month, their strongest monthly intake since October 2025. That suggests institutional demand has remained firm despite the latest pullback from local highs.
Last week’s rally was linked to the US Treasury’s plan to expand buybacks of long-dated government bonds, which revived appetite for scarce assets as a hedge against a weaker dollar. With much of that move now appearing priced in, traders are turning to the Fed’s Jackson Hole symposium, where Fed Chair Kevin Warsh is scheduled to speak on Friday. Fed-related events have often produced sharper crypto volatility, making the policy response a near-term market risk for BTC.
Analyst Daan Crypto has pointed to Bitcoin’s weekly chart, identifying $60,000 as the level where bullish momentum took control and describing $83,000 as the key near-term upside target.
Bitcoin Hyper Positions Itself as a Bitcoin Utility Bet
As capital returns to Bitcoin, a parallel question has emerged for investors: how should BTC be used beyond simple holding? That question has helped spotlight projects seeking to reduce the speed and cost constraints of the base Bitcoin network.
Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) is positioning itself to fill that gap. The project is building a Layer 2 that settles back to Bitcoin while using the Solana Virtual Machine for execution. Under its model, users send BTC to a canonical bridge address, a relay program verifies Bitcoin block headers and transaction proofs, and an equivalent balance is minted on the Layer 2. Transactions there are designed to finalize quickly, with batches later compressed and committed back to Bitcoin through zero-knowledge proofs. Withdrawals follow the same route in reverse once the Layer 2 state is proven.
In practical terms, the project’s aim is to make Bitcoin transfers and applications feel faster while still remaining anchored to the Bitcoin network.
Presale Nears $35M as Mainnet Launch Remains Scheduled for This Quarter
Bitcoin Hyper says its presale has raised more than $33 million so far. The current presale price for HYPER is $0.0136853.
According to the project, HYPER functions as the network’s native token for gas, staking, and governance. Total supply is capped at 21 billion. The allocation is listed as 30% for development, 25% for treasury, 20% for marketing, 15% for rewards, and 10% for listings.
The team says its Layer 2 mainnet is still on track to launch this quarter. Staking for HYPER is already live, with a dynamic APY of up to 35%.
With Bitcoin itself attempting to rebuild momentum below $80,000, that timing has helped place Bitcoin Hyper on the radar of traders looking at infrastructure tied to broader BTC adoption.
How the Bitcoin Hyper Sale Works
Users who want to take part can visit the official Bitcoin Hyper website, connect a supported crypto wallet, select the amount of HYPER they want at the current presale price of $0.0136853, and confirm the transaction. Purchases can be made using ETH, BNB, SOL, USDT, and USDC, while traditional bank cards are also accepted.
Users can also buy and stake in the same flow to access the advertised 35% APY immediately.
Mobile users can access the sale through the Best Wallet app, where HYPER appears in the “Upcoming Tokens” section. Best Wallet is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play.
For updates, users can follow Bitcoin Hyper on X and join its official Telegram channel.
