Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the rose 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the were Aker BP ASA (OL:), which rose 3.22% or 7.00 points to trade at 224.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Var Energi ASA (OL:) added 2.82% or 0.89 points to end at 32.50 and Equinor ASA (OL:) was up 2.69% or 6.90 points to 263.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:), which fell 2.58% or 0.13 points to trade at 4.72 at the close. Hafnia Ltd (OL:) declined 2.20% or 1.70 points to end at 75.40 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:) was down 2.07% or 3.30 points to 156.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 175 to 103 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.44% or 0.30 to $67.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.27% or 0.19 to hit $71.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.87% or 23.50 to trade at $2,671.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.39% to 11.72, while USD/NOK fell 0.35% to 10.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 100.08.
