Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA:), which rose 2.28% or 0.08 points to trade at 3.36 at the close. Meanwhile, Eurocash SA (WA:) added 2.19% or 0.21 points to end at 9.82 and Benefit Systems SA (WA:) was up 2.17% or 55.00 points to 2,590.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cyfrowy Polsat SA (WA:), which fell 2.93% or 0.36 points to trade at 11.91 at the close. Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen SA (WA:) declined 2.12% or 0.89 points to end at 41.02 and Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:) was down 2.07% or 0.57 points to 26.93.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 237 to 232 and 121 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.03% or 1.49 to $74.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.10% or 1.61 to hit $78.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 12.55 to trade at $2,638.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was up 0.19% to 4.30, while USD/PLN rose 0.27% to 3.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 102.69.
