Investing.com – Russia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Meanwhile, Moskovskiy Kreditnyi Bank PAO (MCX:) added 3.22% or 0.19 points to end at 6.03 and Polyus PJSC (MCX:) was up 2.97% or 436.50 points to 15,152.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AFK Sistema PJSC (MCX:), which fell 4.22% or 0.53 points to trade at 12.04 at the close. Moskovskaya Birzha PJSC (MCX:) declined 0.17% or 0.31 points to end at 187.35 and Sberbank Rossii PJSC Pref (MCX:) was down 0.13% or 0.32 points to 237.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 141 to 99 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in AFK Sistema PJSC (MCX:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.22% or 0.53 to 12.04. Shares in Polyus PJSC (MCX:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.97% or 436.50 to 15,152.00. Shares in Sberbank Rossii PJSC Pref (MCX:) fell to 52-week lows; down 0.13% or 0.32 to 237.80.
The , which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia Index options, was down 0.61% to 40.56.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.12% or 3.25 to $2,746.05 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.10% or 0.07 to hit $69.33 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.28% or 0.20 to trade at $72.65 a barrel.
USD/RUB was up 0.65% to 98.00, while EUR/RUB rose 0.19% to 106.18.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 104.24.
