Forbes reported Sabalenka earned a total of $13.7 million last year: $6.7 million in prize money and $7 million in sponsorships and other deals.

She won the 2024 US Open and the 2024 Australian Open. She also made it to the finals of the 2025 Australian Open and the 2025 French Open, and the semifinals of Wimbledon.

Sabalenka, who has 3.3 million followers on Instagram, has partnerships with Wilson, Nike, and Audemars Piguet.

Ruud is seeded at No. 12 for men’s singles at the US Open this year, after skipping Wimbledon due to a knee injury that hindered his ability to play, per ESPN.

He already placed second in the mixed doubles tournament at the 2025 US Open, where he was partnered with Iga Swiatek.

The 26-year-old hails from Norway, and although he’s never won a Grand Slam (he’s been runner-up three times), he’s still earned a pretty penny. Forbes estimated that he earned $13.9 million last year, with $10 million coming from off-the-court endeavors and $3.9 million from winnings.

His biggest endorsements are Samsonite, Vitamin Well, watch brand Fleming, Yonex, and Varsity Headwear.

Osaka, 27, has been one of the best-known tennis players in the world since her surprise 2018 US Open win over Serena Williams. In the years following, she’s won another US Open and two Australian Opens. She also made it to the third round of Wimbledon for the first time since 2018 this year, though she was knocked out by Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

This year, she’s seeded No. 23 at the US Open.

Osaka, who was born in Japan, earned an estimated $14.6 million last year, and just $600,000 of that came from winnings, Forbes reported. The remaining $14 million came from off-the-court partnerships with Maybelline, Etsy, Nike, and her own media company, Hana Kumo. She also has an impressively loyal fan base of 2.8 million Instagram followers.

Medvedev, who is seeded at No. 13 at the US Open, was knocked out of Wimbledon early this year, but that shouldn’t keep the 29-year-old down for long.

However, in the last full year of his career, he earned $23.3 million. While most of that ($23 million to be specific) came from off the court, we still have to pay respect to one of the GOATs of tennis. Especially one who has won over $120 million in prize money over the course of his career.

Nadal’s brand partnerships include Kia, Louis Vuitton, Nike, and the sports app Playtomic.

Sinner, 24, is the No. 1 seed for the US Open this year. In 2025, he won the Australian Open (which he also won in 2024) and Wimbledon, and was in the finals of the French Open. Sinner is also ranked No. 1 by ATP, the governing body of men’s tennis.

The Italian player, per Forbes, earned $26.6 million last year: $11.6 million in winnings and $15 million from other streams of income.

A quick look at his Instagram feed tells us he has partnerships with Nike, the skincare brand La Roche Posay, Lavazza, and Gucci.

Swiatek, 24, is currently ranked No. 2 in the world by the WTA and is seeded No. 2 at the US Open.

In addition to being the first Polish tennis player to win a singles title, she’s won four of the seven French Opens she’s competed in. She also won the US Open in 2022 and Wimbledon earlier this summer.

Forbes put her 2024 earnings at $26.7 million, with $11.7 million in winnings and $15 million from brand deals and other career endeavors.

Gauff is not only the youngest player on this list, at 21, but she was also the highest-paid American tennis player last year, earning $27.1 million ($7.1 million in earnings, $20 million in deals), per Forbes.

She rocketed to fame in 2023 after she became the first teenager since Serena Williams in 1999 to win the US Open. Since then, she won the French Open in 2025 and made it to the third round of the 2024 Olympics. She was, however, knocked out of Wimbledon in the first round this year.

For the US Open, she was seeded No. 3.

Gauff has her own line at New Balance and deals with Bose, UPS, and Naked Juice. She also announced the start of Coco Gauff Enterprises in partnership with the talent agency WME in April 2025.

What is there to say about Djokovic? He’s the only player in history to win all nine active ATP Masters tournaments, the only player to complete the Career Grand Slam three times, and at 38 years old, he’s still ranked No. 7 in the world.

Fittingly, he is also the seventh seed at the US Open this year.

While the legend from Serbia is only at No. 2 for 2024 earnings, he’s far and away the highest-earning tennis player of all time with $187,870,986 in winnings to his name, per ATP.

Last year, he earned $37.2 million — $25 million of that was off the court, while $12.2 million was prize money.

His endorsements include Joe and the Juice, Asics, Lacoste, and Qatar Airways.

At the top of the list is 22-year-old Alcaraz, who fell short of a threepeat at Wimbledon this year after winning in 2023 and 2024, though he did come close — he lost in the finals to Jannik Sinner. That means, of course, he’s seeded second at the US Open just behind Sinner. A finals rematch between the two could be on the horizon.

He also started off 2025 strong with a win at the French Open.

Forbes put Alacaraz’s 2024 earnings at $42.3 million, with $10.3 million in prize money and $32 million in endorsements.

Alcaraz, who hails from Spain, has partnered with Rolex, BMW, Nike, Louis Vuitton, Evian, and more. He also starred in his own Netflix docuseries in 2025 called “Carlos Alcaraz: My Way.”
