News that lots of of OpenAI employees are threatening to depart within the wake of Sam Altman’s shock ouster from the ChatGPT maker marks the newest twist in a still-unfolding drama.
The cleaning soap opera started Friday when OpenAI fired Altman following an influence wrestle with the board, sending shock waves via Silicon Valley. Hours later, the corporate’s president, Greg Brockman, resigned. “Based on today’s news, I quit,” he stated, in a tweeted assertion.
