Verizon Communications’ wireless service suffered a widespread disruption on Wednesday, but investors shrugged off the issues as the stock closed higher, and even outperformed those of its peers.
“We are aware of an issue impacting wireless voice and data services for some customers,” Verizon
VZ said in a post on X. “Our engineers are engaged and are working to identify and solve the issue quickly.”
