House Republicans held a members-only conference call with Freedom Caucus members on Sunday evening in an try to avert a government shutdown, Fox News has discovered.
The aim of the call, which came about at 8 p.m., was to agree on a seamless decision to fund the government for an additional month. The Freedom Caucus and House Republican management have been disputing over what a funding package deal may seem like.
Before the call came about, sources advised Fox News Digital that there was “good progress” between Freedom Caucus members and different Republicans.
The interim spending bill, which is sweet for 31 days, is anticipated to renew present funding whereas incorporating extra border and immigration-related spending. The House goals to vote on it on Thursday.

Main Street Caucus Chairman Dusty Johnson, R-S.D., Vice Chair Stephanie Bice, R-Okla., and Executive Board Representative Kelly Armstrong, R-N.D., advised Fox News that they’re working with Freedom Caucus members to construct help for the persevering with decision.
