Body language expert decodes viral Justin Herbert & Madison Beer training camp videos
Social media erupted after two viral videos showed Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert getting affectionate with fiancée Madison Beer at training camp—with some fans claiming the soft-spoken moment was a sign of distraction or weakness from the QB. Justin Herbert is not alone. There was another high-profile NFL quarterback spotted hanging out with a woman on the practice field at training camp.
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was seen over the weekend chilling on the field with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Olivia Ponton after practice. That’s where the similarities end.
Unlike Herbert, who has been public with his relationship with his now-fiancee Madison Beer, Burrow has taken a different route.

He and Ponton have kept the rumor mill busy for a while now. Ever since she told police that she was an “employee” of his after his Cincinnati-area home was broken into in 2024.

There have been multiple sightings, but up to this point, neither of them have addressed whether this is strictly an employer-employee relationship or if there’s a classic QB1-model dynamic taking place.
The fact that Ponton appeared to be given a golf cart ride to the practice field seems to be an indication that she’s either Burrow’s girlfriend or a very, very important employee of his who has status at Bengals training camp.
I have to be consistent here. When I saw Herbert and Beer looking like a teenage couple on the practice field, alarm bells went off. The hopeless romantic in me was shoved out of the way by the football fan.

Trust me, I want the real love story that NFL fans can finally get behind. A quick hug on the field pregame is well within bounds, but this on the field during training camp is troubling.

It screams lack of focus to me. Prove me wrong during the regular season and I’ll never say a word. But the moment the inconsistent play shows up and losses start piling up, I’m pointing back to these moments.

There could have been extra throws made. There could have been fine-tuning on the little things taking place, but there was this stuff instead. I want to be wrong, I do.
I think there are those who can, granted with a set made of stone, lock in no matter what. Are Joe Burrow or Justin Herbert quarterbacks who can? We shall see.
