The longest government shutdown in history has ended, but don’t expect clear skies for air travel just yet. Still, things should be better in time for Thanksgiving.
The Trump administration is keeping
mandatory flight cuts at 6% on the recommendation of the Federal Aviation Administration’s safety team. That level of cuts “will remain in place as the FAA continues to assess whether the system can gradually return to normal operations.”
