A pair of strays have landed within the doghouse after being caught on video inflicting greater than a quarter-million {dollars}’ value of harm at a Houston automobile dealership.
One canine, described as a bull terrier combine, was captured in early December, and the second, whose breed was not instantly recognized, was caught Dec. 31, KTRK-TV reported. Both canine are being held by the Houston animal management shelter, BARC.
The canine have been captured on surveillance video scratching the paint and tearing the bumpers off of autos within the lot at G Motors, in line with the dealership’s finance supervisor, Imran Haq. They prompted an estimated $350,000 in harm.
Haq and gross sales supervisor Gaby Fakhoury contacted BARC when the assaults started in November. They consider the canine entered the lot by crawling below a fence and that they have been chasing stray cats that have been hiding below the autos.
“We have never seen something like this — dogs attacking cars and causing damage,” Fakhoury informed KTRK.
A person who answered a name Friday to G Motors, which sells used autos, declined to provide his identify or remark.
″(I) simply need all my prospects to know that all the pieces is taken cared of, and you realize, we really feel for these canine, to be trustworthy,” Fakhoury told the TV station. “But they’re in good arms, so we do not have to fret about them proper now.
