CoinDepo Publishes Full CertiK Web Application Audit Results and Remediation Statuses | Invesloan.com

CoinDepo has made the complete results of an independent security audit of its web application available for public review on its CertiK Skynet profile. The published entry covers the areas that were examined, the testing methods that were applied, every finding that was recorded, and the status of the remediation work that followed, giving users and other readers a single place to inspect both the scope of the engagement and its outcomes.

CertiK’s review looked at the application’s functionality, the business logic that shapes how it operates, and the security controls that protect the system. CertiK combined dynamic testing and a manual review, so it could identify potential vulnerabilities and also observe how the application behaved when it was placed under active test conditions. After those findings were raised, the same process included a review of the fixes that CoinDepo implemented in response, confirming that the reported issues had been addressed.

The Skynet listing records 18 findings from the web application audit. Sixteen of them have been resolved, while the two remaining items are informational findings that have been acknowledged. All of the findings that were classified as critical, high, medium, or low appear as resolved. Because the statuses are published, readers can see both the issues that were identified during the review and the results of the remediation steps that were taken.

The report itself can be reached by opening CoinDepo’s CertiK Skynet profile and selecting “CoinDepo Web Application” in the Code Audit History section. That same profile also contains the results of an earlier CertiK audit of CoinDepo’s smart contracts. The smart-contract review examined a separate part of the project’s technology, so the profile now holds independent assessments of two distinct layers of the platform.

CoinDepo is also participating in CertiK Hunt, the firm’s bug bounty program. Under the conditions of that program, invited security researchers have a channel to responsibly report eligible vulnerabilities, and each report is evaluated according to the program’s defined scope and disclosure rules. This arrangement creates a continuing route for external testing as the platform develops, operating alongside the independent security audits that have already been completed.
