The crypto market traded broadly lower over the past 24 hours, with risk-off sentiment weighing across most sectors. Bitcoin fell 1.24% to slip below $88,000, while Ethereum dropped 1.58% to below $3,000. Sector-wise, losses were led by sharp declines in high-volatility segments, while select tokens showed resilience. CeFi slipped 1.32% despite modest gains in CRO and BGB, PayFi fell 2.11% with SafePal edging higher, and Layer 1 and Layer 2 sectors dropped 2.46% and 4.10%, respectively. Market-wide sector indices also weakened, with SocialFi, NFT, and RWA indices posting notable declines, reflecting continued pressure across speculative corners of the market.
