Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 1.19%.
The best performers of the session on the were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:), which rose 3.49% or 3,170.00 points to trade at 94,020.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) added 3.30% or 94.00 points to end at 2,944.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:) was up 2.95% or 40.00 points to 1,395.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:), which fell 1.91% or 1,850.00 points to trade at 94,970.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) declined 0.88% or 16.00 points to end at 1,792.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:) was down 0.43% or 5.00 points to 1,150.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 313 to 151 and 74 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.18% or 0.84 to $70.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.54% or 0.40 to hit $74.09 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.96 to trade at $2,673.84 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.30% to 3.59, while EUR/ILS fell 0.32% to 3.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 106.57.
