Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Eastern Province Cement Co. (TADAWUL:), which rose 10.00% or 3.40 points to trade at 37.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (TADAWUL:) added 8.51% or 0.98 points to end at 12.50 and East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:) was up 6.00% or 9.40 points to 166.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 9.38% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.29 at the close. Alamar Foods CJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 2.55% or 2.10 points to end at 80.10 and Almarai Company (TADAWUL:) was down 2.55% or 1.50 points to 57.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 173 to 120 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.58% or 0.41 to $70.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.48% or 0.36 to hit $74.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 18.90 to trade at $2,697.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.06% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 103.14.
