    • Costco sparked online chatter by offering Off-White hoodies in Canada at discounted prices.
    • The retailer’s past brand collaborations include a recent Kirkland x Nike Dunk release.
    • The designer hoodies appear to be sold out on the Canadian Costco website.

Hypebeasts had the chance to get their designer drip at Costco stores.

The wholesale mega store stirred online conversations last week as fashionphiles discovered a stash of Off-White hoodies being sold at some Costco locations in Canada. The luxury brand appeared to be on sale at a discount compared to its price elsewhere.

One Redditor posted a screenshot of the Costco website showing a blue Off-White hoodie for 84.99 Canadian dollars, or roughly $62.50. In a TikTok video from an Ottawa Costco, the display said that the designer tops were 79.99 Canadian dollars.

The hoodies popped up weeks after Off-White presented its Fall/Winter 2026 Paris Fashion Week. As of Tuesday, the Off-White website features a similar hoodie style to the Costco options for $543 (that’s 30% off the original price).

Costco’s listings appeared unavailable as of Wednesday morning, as did an Instagram post from Costco Canada about the drop. Some Redditors said the hoodies were sold out online.

Costco and Bluestar Alliance, which owns Off-White, did not respond to requests for comment.

The cheaper Costco hoodies sparked an online debate among fans of the brand who were torn on what a partnership with the warehouse club means for Off-White’s standing in the luxury world. Some said the brand has fallen off since the death of its founder, Virgil Abloh, in 2021. Others argued that Abloh might’ve made the same choice to partner with Costco to make the brand more accessible.

Luxury conglomerate LVMH sold its majority stake in Off-White to Bluestar Alliance, which also owns Dickies, in 2024.

This isn’t the first time Costco has teamed up with a big-name brand on a drop. It quietly released a pair of Kirkland Signature Nike Dunks in January, sending sneakerheads into a frenzy to get their hands on them.

Costco’s Kirkland Signature private-label brand is known for its reliable basics, like hoodies and T-shirts.

Introducing a luxury brand like Off-White to its racks is another way to stand out.
