Nothing says luxury like a monogram.
The classic embroidery, which typically features a name or initials in script, has been a staple of menswear for generations. Once a practical feature on clothes, monograms now serve as subtle status symbols.
The detail is having a moment this fall, thanks to Chanel. Instead of initials, people are wearing tops featuring the fashion house’s monogram prominently on the bodice.
Nicole Kidman, for example, wore a striped, collared blouse with Chanel embroidered in red at the 2026 US Open in September. Variants of the top have also been worn by Jessie Buckley and Jacob Elordi this year.
One version, from the Métiers d’art 2026 collection, retails for $3,950.
