Flooding in railway tunnels in southeastern England pressured the cancellation of all trains linking London with the European mainland on Saturday, worldwide rail operator Eurostar stated, disrupting New Year vacation journey for hundreds of passengers, the BBC and Reuters reported.
Eurostar, which runs providers from London to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, stated affected prospects had been entitled to a full refund or alternate.
Eurostar had initially cancelled 14 trains operating on Saturday however stated it had determined to cancel all the day’s providers – a complete of 41 trains – because the flooding continued.
