U.S. inventory futures rise amid new hope of imminent deal to finish authorities shutdown | Invesloan.com

U.S. stock futures gained Sunday, despite coming off the worst week for tech stocks since April, as investors clung to indications that a deal may be in the works to end the government shutdown.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures YM00 jumped 120 points, or 0.3% late Sunday. S&P 500 futures ES00 gained 0.4% and Nasdaq-100 futures NQ00 rose 0.6%. Bitcoin BTCUSD topped the $105,000 level after a nearly 3% rise in the past 24 hours. West Texas crude futures CL.1 gained 0.3% and gold futures GC00 advanced 0.4%. The ICE U.S. Dollar Index DXY slipped.
