Dakich: College Football Will Be Worse Without Sanders, Hunter | Don’t @ Me w/ Dan Dakich

“I’m sad about this because I think college football was more interesting when Colorado had Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter and Deion was fresh, but they crashed last year. Three and nine, five game losing streak they’re currently on. Seems like there’s a lot of things. Dion’s health, that kind of thing. I don’t know, man. This seems to be headed in a bad direction. And as importantly, I guess it’s not interesting anymore.”

There’s a saying that “it just means more” in the SEC, and while that may be true at most schools, Arkansas isn’t one of them.

The team has only had four winning seasons in the past decade, never once eclipsing the ten-win threshold, and it doesn’t look like things are getting better in The Natural State anytime soon.

The Razorbacks are fresh off a beatdown at the hands of the Utah Utes, and after returning from Salt Lake City to play the Georgia Bulldogs, you would assume the fanbase would be there to support their team and watch a conference game at home.

USC FOOTBALL RIPPED FOR PATHETIC CROWD AT HOME OPENER: ‘ABSOLUTELY EMBARRASSING’

Apparently, that wasn’t the case, as Fayetteville and, more specifically, the University of Arkansas campus looked like a ghost town all Saturday morning.

This is an SEC school on gameday? I’ve seen busier streets in a zombie apocalypse movie.

But hey, maybe everyone is just really excited for the start of the game and wanted to get to their seats before kickoff.

    I’m sure that’s it, right?

    Good Lord, that’s brutal!

We are three games into the Ryan Silverfield era at Arkansas, and it looks like the fans have already had enough.

It takes time to get your players in the building and get everyone to buy in, and Silverfield is basically starting from scratch, but Hogs fans don’t seem to care one way or another.

It doesn’t look like they missed much either, as the Bulldogs predictably dragged the Razorbacks up and down their home turf for four quarters en route to a 45-17 drubbing.

The Woo, Pig Sooie faithful absolutely saw this one coming and apparently wanted no part of it.

    Can you blame them, either?

Arky fans have had to endure a lot of crap these past several years, and until things improve on the field, this might be the new norm at the house that Donald W. Reynolds built.

Darren McFadden and Felix Jones ain’t walking through that door anytime soon, so it might be another long autumn in northwest Arkansas.
