Regardless of what happens with the Los Angeles Chargers this season, star quarterback Justin Herbert and pop star Madison Beer have already won.
The couple announced their engagement Tuesday in a joint social media post.
“Meet my fiancé,” they captioned the joint post.

The couple posted 12 pictures from the big day, the first showing them sharing a kiss.
Among the pictures in the slideshow, Herbert is shown carrying an ebullient Beer over his shoulder, while another shows him on one knee proposing to her. Another picture shows a wooden sign that read “Mr. and Mrs. Herbert.”
The couple was first linked together in August 2025 when Herbert was seen with the singer on the set of one of Beer’s music videos in Los Angeles. They seemed to confirm the dating rumors when they were pictured together on the sideline of a Chargers game at SoFi Stadium in October.

The couple attended a Los Angeles Lakers game later that month and sat courtside. They went viral as Herbert blocked an errant basketball from hitting Beer.
Herbert is 28, and Beer is 27. The couple’s birthdays are just five days apart. In March, each of them posted romantic messages to the other for their respective birthdays.
Herbert is heading into his seventh season as the Chargers quarterback.

Last season, in 16 games, Herbert led the Chargers to an 11-5 record, completing 66.4% of his passes for 3,727 yards with 26 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. The former Oregon star also ran for 498 yards and two touchdowns.
He made the Pro Bowl for the second time in his career.
