FOX News Media will honor the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on America with extensive multiplatform special programming, the company announced on Thursday.

On the somber anniversary, and in the days leading up to it, Fox News personalities and correspondents will present commemorative packages and interviews while reporting live from locations across New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.

“FOX & Friends” will spend the week of Sept. 7 broadcasting live from several locations tied to the horrific day. Co-host Steve Doocy, who was broadcasting live alongside co-host Brian Kilmeade on the morning of the attacks in 2001, will host the program’s flagship “Breakfast with Friends” series live from the historic O’Hara’s Pub in New York City just two blocks from Ground Zero.

Doocy will then travel to Washington, D.C., on Tuesday and speak with Tunnel to Towers Foundation chairman and CEO Frank Siller. The show will also feature the Steel Across America tour — a historic coast-to-coast campaign honoring those who sacrificed their lives on 9/11 — arriving at the White House.

Doocy will broadcast live from Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the crash site of United Airlines Flight 93, on Thursday.

On Friday, Fox News Channel’s special coverage will commence with “FOX & Friends” co-hosts Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt and Lawrence Jones broadcasting live from the Hyatt House in Jersey City, overlooking the New York City skyline. Doocy will contribute live from Ground Zero.

“America’s Newsroom” co-anchors Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino will broadcast live from Brookfield Place overlooking the World Trade Center campus in downtown Manhattan. The reading of the victims’ names from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is also expected to air during “America’s Newsroom.”

Throughout the day, Fox News senior correspondent Eric Shawn, who reported from Ground Zero on the day of the attacks, will contribute live from downtown Manhattan and correspondent Alexis McAdams will report live from Shanksville.

Chief national security correspondent Jennifer Griffin will contribute from the Pentagon and senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy will be stationed at the White House.

On Fox Business Network, “The Claman Countdown” anchor Liz Claman will commemorate the 658 Cantor Fitzgerald employees lost in the 9/11 attacks on Sept. 10. The following day, Claman will feature an interview with Silverstein Properties CEO Larry Silverstein from the World Trade Center, which he helped rebuild following the attacks.

Fox News Digital will also provide day-of coverage of the commemorations at Ground Zero, the Pentagon and Shanksville, including livestream embeds from all three ceremonies.

Fox News Digital will also feature interviews with National September 11 Memorial & Museum CEO Elizabeth L. Hillman and former Navy SEAL Robert O’Neill, among others. The platform will publish a “Never Forget” archival photo retrospective, including a look at how Ground Zero and the Manhattan skyline have changed since the attacks.

FOX Nation will debut two new specials ahead of the anniversary, starting with “Paul Mauro’s Notes from Ground Zero” on Sept. 4. The special spotlights Fox News contributor and former NYPD Inspector Paul Mauro, who was working the morning of 9/11 and scribbled down notes in the days following the attacks, as he returns to Ground Zero for the first time in 25 years.

FOX News Audio and FOX News Podcasts will present extensive coverage of the anniversary as well, including an eight-part documentary series entitled “FOX News Rewind: 9/11,” that features a variety of Fox News personalities.

On YouTube, “The Brian Kilmeade Show” will provide access to some of Kilmeade’s most notable 9/11 interviews and affiliates will be offered an anniversary special from Kilmeade that reflects on how America has evolved over the last 25 years.
