Darline Graham officially sworn in as interim SC senator

Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity will sit down with Sen. Darline Graham, R-S.C., the sister of late Senator Lindsey Graham, for an exclusive interview on Monday night’s edition of “Hannity” at 9 p.m. ET.
Graham was sworn into office earlier this month following the sudden death of her brother, becoming the first female senator from the Palmetto State and the first sister ever appointed to the upper chamber. It will be her first interview since the tragic passing of her brother, and her first since her appointment to the U.S. Senate.
Graham is expected to discuss her brother’s legacy and her decision to carry on his public service. She will reflect on the shared values that shaped their family, upbringing and how she will represent the people of South Carolina following his death.

Darline Graham was appointed to fulfill the remainder of her brother’s term by South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster. President Donald Trump recommended she get the position, and Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., spoke with her several times before appearing alongside her in Columbia, South Carolina.
“Lindsey took care of his little sister in years long departed. It’s my honor to ask his little sister, Darline Graham, to finish his work for him now,” McMaster said.
Lindsey Graham died in Washington, D.C. on July 11 at 71, one day after returning from Kyiv, where he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss a new package of sanctions against Russia.

A statement released by Graham’s office cited preliminary findings from the District of Columbia’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, identifying the cause of death as an aortic dissection due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, though the official cause of death remains pending additional testing.
Hannity has interviewed everyone from world leaders to entertainers, including Elon Musk, Benjamin Netanyahu, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Gavin Newsom, George W. Bush, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kim Kardashian, Mike Tyson, Sean Penn, and many others.
