Jon Bon Jovi made things right with fans after a health setback forced him to abruptly cut one of his Madison Square Garden concerts short.

More than a month after the rock star struggled to make it through the July 23 performance, Fox News Digital can confirm Bon Jovi offered fans a full refund for the shortened show.

“Thank you for being part of Bon Jovi’s Madison Square Garden shows,” an email from Ticketmaster read. “In effort to always put the fans first and create the best experience for them, Bon Jovi will be giving refunds to primary ticket purchasers at original point of purchase for fans who attended the Thursday, July 23, 2026 concert at Madison Square Garden.”

“Due to scheduling and logistics Bon Jovi was unable to offer an additional performance,” the email continued. “As the primary ticket purchaser, you will receive an automatic refund for your ticket within the next 14 business days.”

Bon Jovi abruptly ended the July 23 show after having difficulty getting through his performance. Train frontman Pat Monahan stepped in to help before Bon Jovi made the decision to end the show.

A representative for Bon Jovi confirmed to Fox News Digital at the time that the concert ended early, saying the singer told fans from the stage he had been battling a health setback.

“Jon Bon Jovi spoke from stage and told fans he has been battling a sinus infection which led to the show’s early ending,” the representative said in a statement.

“As part of the Bon Jovi residency at Madison Square Garden, Jon has said numerous times that it has been a joy to return to live shows for the band. Updated information will be available shortly.”

An insider who attended the concert told Fox News Digital Bon Jovi performed for roughly 90 minutes.

Bon Jovi’s previous Madison Square Garden residency shows have lasted more than two hours and included roughly 19 songs, the insider noted. Thursday’s performance wrapped after approximately 15 songs, ending earlier than fans had come to expect.

Monahan was in the arena as a fan and was not part of the scheduled show, according to the insider.
