NFL’s conduct coverage assessment of Puka Nacua continues and that drives fantasy soccer managers nuts | Invesloan.com

Puka Nacua may have NFL wide receiver superpowers, but that doesn’t make him invisible to the league’s ongoing Personal Conduct Policy review.

So the fact he was not suspended over the weekend when the league handed down discipline for three players – placing them on the Commissioner’s Exempt List – does not mean Nacua has dodged discipline under the conduct policy.

Nacua, perhaps the Los Angeles Rams’ most consistent offensive playmaker, is among a group of NFL employees whose situation is still under review after they got into some legal hot water in the offseason.

3 NFL STARS HIT COMMISSIONER’S EXEMPT LIST AFTER OFFSEASON FILLED WITH LEGAL TROUBLE

That list includes San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman, Rams offensive tackle Alaric Jackson and Nacua.

All, including Nacua, have off-field issues that have caused the NFL to review their individual situations, with a conduct policy rebuke still possible.

And this: The NFL’s Week 1 games approaching is not a sign the men in focus will be in the clear once the regular season begins.

The NFL could suspend any of the players or York even after Week 1 if its independent investigations eventually determine that discipline is warranted. There is no firm league deadline requiring a Personal Conduct Policy decision before the season opener.

In 2024, for example, then-Buffalo Bills edge rusher Von Miller was suspended on Oct. 1 by the NFL after he had already played multiple games.

York is facing league scrutiny tied to his arrest on charges related to a prostitution sting last month.

Bateman and Jackson were both arrested on charges related to separate June incidents in separate incidents involving allegations of battery.

And Nacua, well, he’s the defendant in a civil lawsuit filed by Madison Atiabi, who alleges he bit her shoulder during a New Year’s Eve 2025 party.

RAMS TROUBLEMAKER WR PUKA NACUA SAYS HE’S A CHANGED MAN AFTER BITING INCIDENT AND STINT IN REHAB

Nacua’s attorney denies the allegations and characterizes the biting as “horseplay.”

    (Strange game, if true).

Anyway, a Los Angeles County judge has set a civil trial for March 27, 2028. No criminal charges have been filed.

The NFL has said nothing publicly beyond the fact that Nacua’s situation remains under league review. Nacua is currently expected to be available for Week 1 but that can change at any time.

And why is Nacua a focus here? Well, unlike any of the other players or York, Nacua is a major source of attention in fantasy football because of his prowess in real football.

So, countless fantasy football fans have been monitoring his status for their own selfish fantasy football reasons.

The Los Angeles Rams open their season in Australia on Sept. 10 against the San Francisco 49ers – with or without Nacua.
