    IN TODAY’S NEWSLETTER:

    – ‘No Kings’ protest network behind fight against AI data centers and Flock cameras

    – US adversary turns up the heat on America’s AI lead with an underestimated edge

    – OpenAI’s ChatGPT pivots after previously putting Trump alongside Putin as top threats to democracy

CROSSED WIRES: The same hard-left network behind “No Kings” and other protests is leading the battle against data centers and Flock surveillance cameras, according to a Fox News Digital investigation and a new report.

SILICON STANDOFF: China is racing to build the data centers and energy infrastructure needed to power artificial intelligence, raising concerns that Beijing’s ability to rapidly construct massive projects could help it get closer to America’s commanding lead in the physical infrastructure underpinning the AI race.

MACHINE VERDICT: OpenAI’s ChatGPT originally rated President Donald Trump as a major threat to democracy when prompted, according to a new study, but the results differed following an inquiry from Fox News Digital.

CITY HALL RIFT: New York City public school students under 9th Grade will be banned from using generative AI for at least one year, Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced Wednesday.

‘SAME PLAYBOOK’: As the development of data centers continues to grow into one of the top hot button political issues in the United States, some experts are sounding the alarm on the various left-wing groups and climate activists who are pouring money and resources into data center opposition campaigns.

GRID ON THE BRINK: Your lights. Your water. Your hospital. Your internet. All four depend on digital systems that foreign hackers are now targeting.

‘BACKWARDS AND POOR’: President Donald Trump took aim Monday at the growing backlash against data centers, warning that communities that shut the door on the facilities risk missing out on the jobs and economic gains of America’s AI boom.

OPINION: Very few people disagree. Artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics will profoundly impact the lives of every man, woman and child in our country. These revolutionary technologies will radically change our economy and, quite likely, eliminate tens of millions of jobs over the next decade.

BIG TECH BATTLE: It’s the fall of 2028. A debate moderator turns to two presidential nominees who spent their governorships fighting over data centers. “China’s AI lead is now a fact,” she says. “In 2026, you decided to restrict data-center construction, and the machinist in Youngstown, Ohio, watched his job follow the servers to the Gulf. What do you tell him? Which of your policies would you take back?”

RURAL REBOOT: In central Washington, a farming town of roughly 8,100 people has become an unlikely showcase for America’s data-center boom.

CTRL ALT DECEIVE: America’s rivals stand to gain from a growing backlash against the data centers powering the nation’s AI boom and foreign money is helping fuel it, Brittany Kaiser warned.

HARD AT WORK: The race to build more data centers for artificial intelligence is driving demand for more than chips and electricity. It also requires vast networks of high-speed optical fiber to move data between servers, putting one of America’s oldest manufacturers at the center of the boom.
