Fans of “The Madison” better be ready to wait a bit longer for new episodes.
The show from Taylor Sheridan was a major change of pace for the “Yellowstone” universe creator. Instead of lots of action, violence, carnage and suspense, the show with Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer tells a very different kind of story.
It focuses on a family going through a deeply painful moment and fleeing New York City for the comfort and safety of rural Montana.

Admittedly, I had extremely low expectations when the first preview was released for “The Madison.” That was a mistake. It turned out to be a shockingly uplifting series from Sheridan and was a punch to the emotions.

“The Madison” gets season two release timeline.
Season one ended on March 21, 2026, and fans have been eager for new episodes for one very simple reason:

Season two was filmed before the series premiere even aired.
Well, viewers finally starting to get an idea of when “The Madison” will return for season two, and it won’t be in 2026.
“I got cast in the show back in 2024, and our first season came out in 2026, and then season two is going to come out top of 2027. And we’ll be back shooting season three for top of 2027 as well, so stay tuned,” actress Danielle Vasinova, who plays Kestrel Harris on the series, told US Weekly.
Actor Kevin Zegers further told the outlet, “It was mostly nice to shoot a second season before anyone had seen the first season, just because I think sometimes the show comes out and the vibes change on set because everyone’s kind of like the thing you’re making has been consumed. So, having made the second now, we’re going back to make the third at the beginning of next year.”

Now, fans know season two will arrive at some point in 2027 – likely early in the year – and production on season three will begin roughly the same time.
That means fans are looking at a late 2027 or early 2028 release for the third season of the hit show with Russell and Pfeiffer.

Will there be a fourth season? Time will tell, but given the early success of “The Madison” and Sheridan’s habit of stacking success on top of success, I wouldn’t rule anything out.
