Aztec Labs relaunched zk.money yesterday, restoring a self-custodial wallet on Aztec Network after three years offline. Users can claim readable tags that resolve through ENS, then make stablecoin payments designed to conceal transaction amounts, balances, and recipients from public view.
As of now, deposits reportedly support DAI, USDC, and USDT, with funds converted to DAI inside the system; a reported $2,500 deposit cap limits near-term scale.
The launch announcement also cited zk.money’s earlier record of more than 75,000 wallets and $100 million in volume. That historical figure is not evidence of current adoption. In an earlier technical snapshot, ETH traded above its 7-, 25-, and 99-period moving averages at $2,710, $2,693, and $2,680, respectively. Those levels are now above the live quote, so they are overhead reference points. The short-term setup has changed.
