(Reuters) – More than 400 Macy’s (NYSE:) employees in Washington state are planning a three-day strike from Black Friday via Sunday, alleging unfair labor practices and demanding higher wages, in accordance with UFCW Local 3000’s web site.
The union stated it was planning to begin the strike on Nov. 24 at 3 a.m. PT with a parade on the Southcenter Mall in Tukwila. The fourth Friday of November is likely one of the busiest and most worthwhile days of the 12 months on the division retailer chain.
The strike could be at three of Macy’s busiest shops and the employees are anticipated to return to obligation from 3 a.m. PT on Monday.
